The wide, four-sided base allows a compatible cane to stand independently on a firm, level surface, so there is no need to lean it against a wall, table or chair. Its sturdy rubber construction also provides a broader, slip-resistant base for added stability while walking.
The non-marking material is suitable for use on indoor floor surfaces without leaving behind black marks. Designed to fit most standard canes with a ¾″ or ⅞″ shaft, it can be installed by removing the existing cane tip and firmly fitting the self-standing tip in its place.
The cane tip supports a maximum user weight of 113kg, provided this does not exceed the weight capacity of the cane itself.
Important: Do not use with a folding cane. Ensure the tip fits securely before use and recheck the cane height after fitting. Inspect regularly for wear, damage or looseness and replace when necessary. A self-standing cane may still fall if knocked or placed on an uneven or sloping surface.
