Carex® Youth Leg Cast Protector provides a convenient waterproof barrier to help keep a child’s cast, bandage or wound dressing dry while showering or bathing.
Its extra-long, 31-inch design makes it suitable for leg casts positioned either above or below the knee. The protector is made from strong, durable and latex-free plastic to provide dependable protection during normal use.
A stretchable opening, tight-sealing plastic ring and flexible diaphragm fit securely around the leg, helping prevent water and moisture from reaching the covered area. No tape or fastening straps are required.
The protector can be applied and removed whenever needed, while its reusable construction is designed to provide protection throughout the duration of most casts.
Before use, inspect the protector for signs of damage. Ensure the sealing ring rests securely against bare, healthy skin above the cast, bandage or dressing. Children and young people should use the protector with appropriate adult assistance and supervision.
